General Contracting

Whether you need a single room gutted or a full basement stripped to the studs, our demolition team works safely, efficiently, and cleanly. All debris is removed, sorted, and disposed of responsibly.

How It Works

We protect adjacent areas and shut off services as required. Demolition proceeds systematically — drywall, fixtures, cabinets, flooring. All material is loaded and hauled from site, leaving a clean slate.

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

What gets salvaged versus thrown out during a demolition?

We sort material as we work. Anything with resale or reuse value - cabinets, fixtures, doors, hardwood flooring in good condition - can be set aside for donation, client reuse, or sale if you prefer. Everything else is loaded and disposed of properly at licensed disposal facilities. If you have specific items you want saved, let us know before demo starts.

How long does a full interior gut take?

A full kitchen or bathroom gut runs 1-2 days for a standard residential space. A full basement strip-out (framing, drywall, mechanicals included) takes 2-4 days. Large commercial gut-outs are scoped separately. We give you a specific demo timeline as part of the overall project schedule.

Do utilities need to be shut off before demolition?

Yes - for any demo that involves opening walls, removing fixtures, or working near electrical and plumbing, the relevant services need to be isolated. We coordinate with your utility providers or our licensed trades to shut off and cap what needs to be disconnected before work begins. Don't assume demo can start without this step - it's a safety requirement.

How is asbestos or other hazardous material handled?

If your home or building was constructed before 1985, there is a chance hazardous materials are present - asbestos in drywall compound, flooring, or insulation, or lead paint. We do not disturb suspected hazmat. Before demo on older buildings, we recommend professional testing. If hazmat is confirmed, we bring in a licensed abatement contractor to deal with it before our demo crew touches anything.
