CarpetCarpet
Custom carpet runners are cut from broadloom rolls and edge-bound to precise dimensions. We offer a wide range of binding options — serging, tape binding, and fringe — to create a finished, durable runner tailored to your space.
We measure the space, select from available carpet samples, cut the runner to size, and apply the binding finish. Custom runners can be fabricated and delivered within days.

Frequently Asked Questions
How long does fabrication take for a custom carpet runner?
Most custom runners can be fabricated within 3-5 business days once the carpet has been selected and dimensions confirmed. Rush orders are sometimes possible depending on inventory. We carry a range of in-stock broadloom so many standard sizes can be turned around faster. Plan for a week from order to delivery to be safe.
What binding options are available for carpet runners?
The most common options are serging (an overlock stitch that wraps the edge in yarn) and tape binding (a fabric tape glued and stitched along the edge). Serging gives a more handcrafted look; tape binding is cleaner and more modern. Fringe is also available for traditional or decorative applications. We show samples during the selection process so you can see the finish before committing.
How precisely can you cut a runner to a specific size?
Very precisely - we cut to the inch. Custom runners are made to your exact dimensions, whether that's a 27"x180" stair runner or a 36"x144" hallway piece. If you have an unusual width or length requirement, we can accommodate it as long as the source broadloom is wide enough for the cut.
What pile height is recommended for hallway runners?
For hallways, a low to medium pile (under 1/2" height) is the practical choice. It lies flat, doesn't trip people at the edges, stays cleaner longer, and wears evenly over time. Very plush or high-pile runners look great initially but mat down quickly in hallways and become a tripping hazard at the bound edges if they start to curl.
